2ndly welcome to the explanation of our brand new exciting new segment “The Godfathers Txt”.

In early 2008 I decided to start sending a txt from The Godfather (that’s me, it’s another story) to some men that I know, with a kind of “thought of the day” thing. I say ‘kind of’ because I knew it would be a bit wilder than that. These have been reflections on life, weird thoughts, questions, frustrations and a whole lot of laughs. In fact some have let to a very funny international prank (see “Don’t mess with the Godfather”). Everyone who receives it really enjoys it so I thought I would share some of them with you.

I am going to post these randomly – maybe one or three or even ……. two a week and you are just going to have to look out for them. So sit back and enjoy these awesome txt-sized posts that are now coming to a Blog near you!

The Godfather.

It has been 3 years since the humble blogging beginning on MySpace where I decided to put some thoughts on life on the net. The Thursday Blog quickly grew to become quite a popular little blog with just under 200 subscribed members (that was a lot in 2005 – with inflation now days that would be close to 3.4 million).

The Blog took a rest, as all good things need a rest every once and a while but now it is back and better than ever. No longer limited by only being on a networking site, the Thursday Blog has got its own website. Things are looking good.

So if you are new to The Thursday Blog and you want to know how it works, it can all be summed up in this simple statement “Your mid week guide to life”. The topic, the focus, the genre is life. Taken from my life comes some fantastic thoughts, discussions, stories designed to create a passion to explore the amazing game of life. This is a very easy read yet slightly addictive but is definitely good for you. Kind of like a Carrot, delivered to your desk that tastes like a Mars Bar.
